Melbourne's No 1 Snow Ski Resort & The YHA Backpackers Lodge.

This was the 46 bed lodge I manage during the ski season for the last 15 years. Bookings opened in May through to the end of the season, usually the end of September. Right in the centre of the Mt Buller the YHA Lodge was a centrally heated lodge offering bunk style accommodation in 6 bed dormitories. It had a self catering kitchen, lounge room with TV and Internet facilities, drying and ski room, and the chair lift is just 50 meters away. Full "ski in, ski out" facilities. YHA sold this lodge to a developer who has now demolished this building for a new appartments, retail and an upmarket lodge.
